Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Disability Assessments

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform important medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this vital role, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
Your responsibilities will include electronically documenting exam findings required by the VA. Please note that you will NOT be involved in making disability determinations; that responsibility lies solely with the United States Veterans Administration.
This position strictly involves conducting Disability Assessments on Veterans. You will NOT be treating or prescribing medication in this role.
On a typical day, you will perform assessments on 3-5 Veterans, providing essential support to the Veteran community.
Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
This is an IN-PERSON position.
Key Attributes:
- Passionate about performing Independent Medical Assessments.
- Able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of staying focused and meeting requirements.
- Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Proficient in computer usage.
Requirements:
- Must have a current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
