Job Title: Mohs Surgeon (Board Certified/Fellowship-Trained)
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mohs Surgeon with board certification or fellowship training to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in performing Mohs micrographic surgery, providing specialized care to patients with skin cancer, and collaborating with our dermatology team to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Mohs micrographic surgery for the treatment of skin cancer and complex skin lesions.
- Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, including patient consultations and evaluations.
- Interpret histopathological findings and make surgical decisions based on microscopic analysis.
- Coordinate with dermatologists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide post-operative care, wound management, and follow-up appointments for Mohs surgery patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including surgical documentation and pathology reports.
- Participate in educational activities, conferences, and research initiatives related to Mohs surgery and dermatology.
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Dermatology or fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery.
- Minimum of two years of experience performing Mohs surgery independently.
- Proficiency in Mohs surgical techniques, including tissue processing and margin assessment.
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to manage complex skin cancer cases.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
- Commitment to clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, and continuous learning.
