OrthoAtlanta is seeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to work with a fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon in our Battery and Cartersville Locations . The Physician Assistant will assist the physician in office and hospital settings (Piedmont Atlanta and Piedmont Cartersville), independent clinics seeing patients with a variety of orthopedic injuries and illnesses, assisting in the operating room as needed, performing emergency room and hospital consultations, rounding and call duties. Candidates should be flexible and have a strong desire to work both independently and as a team member. Excellent assessment skills and a strong work ethic are required.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Ability to be licensed by the State of Georgia.
  • Must be able to work independently and work well with co-workers
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with flexible and creative approach
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to communicate professionally and effectively with all member of the healthcare team as well as in simple, concise and soothing language to patients and families
