JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: LDRPN Unit

Shift Timings: Night shift 19:00-7:30 Hours

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
  • One to three years of ICU experience
  • BLS/ACLS
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing required
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
  • NRP Certification
  • National Institutes of Health Certification

  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
  • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
