As the Web Developer, the individual will be responsible for using their knowledge of programming languages to code websites and web applications. In this role, the Developer will also have some database Administrator duties where they will build, support, administer, and sustain a clustered-server database platform hosted in an enterprise IT environment. In addition, the Developer will provide technical support for incident response, service degradations, outages, and other service interruptions.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with customers and team members to determine their needs and design preferences, creating code for the front and back-end of a website, and running tests to ensure that they used the correct code strings
  • Builds and optimizes secure webpages for evolving business, organizational and educational needs
  • Provides continued support for multiple web properties
  • Maintains communication with team members and customers concerning the direction of the website
  • Codes and scripts applications
  • Performs routine site audits, as well as ongoing maintenance, on an as-needed basis.
  • Works proactively as part of the Creative Team to determine user needs and suggest innovative solutions
  • Recommends and implements new approaches that enhance the user experience, highlighting CCoE's mission and encouraging engagement with the stakeholders
  • Optimizes user experience and site content for ranking in search engines including HTML, site structure, page layout, and navigation
  • Interfaces with external customers and vendors regarding website needs; work to develop new features based on client needs
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Architects, designs, engineers, and documents database servers and associated infrastructure in clustered, stand-alone, and/or appliance-hosted configurations, which fulfill mission requirements, service specifications, and cyber security mandates
  • Builds, configures, and sustains database server clusters
  • Performs daily operations, onsite support, and on-call support for all aspects of web development and database architecture, platforms, and database management software
  • Works with original equipment manufacturers and/or third-party vendors to resolve performance degradations and outages
  • Plans, executes, and documents web server specification changes
  • Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office
Required Qualifications/Education and Experience
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have and maintain Top-Secret Security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Must have IAT Level II certification
  • Oracle/SQL Server certification or MCSA Certification or higher
  • Demonstrated proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Click Dimensions, and CRM Dynamics
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years web development experience
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) or more years of experience with designing, building, and managing databases
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Photoshop or other platforms used to create basic graphic content
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing and design, user experience, and web accessibility best practices
  • Proven proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Deep Understanding of Cloud Web Application Development
  • Use and creation of CI/CD pipelines in Azure
  • Database Admin and Development store procedure creation, views, and optimization
  • Query Development via T-SQL
  • Database backup and transfer within Azure (AZCOPY, Data Bricks, etc.)
  • Experience with web security best practices, STIGS, VDP remediation
  • Knowledge of Access Control and Identity Management (EAMS-A, O-Auth, ADAL, ADFS)
  • Data ETL & Report creation
  • Experience with REST API
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into website structure
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience building and maintaining Content Management Platforms
  • Familiarity with using front-end scripting languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery to customize solution front-end is a plus
