Summary:

We are seeking a talented and highly experienced Staff Accountant-Accounts Payable at T2S Solutions to join our team at the corporate headquarters in Belcamp, Maryland

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the general financial accounting and reporting activities of the organization.
  • Entering A/P Vouchers, Reconciling the Credit Card Statements and Working Approving and Validating Expense Reports.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including:
    • Prepare and record journal entries.
    • Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
    • Analyze and adjust journal entries when necessary.
  • Assist with financial statement audit process.
  • Proactive AP invoice tracking & Pre EFT report.
  • Assist with month end AP Accruals.
  • Collaborate with controller to ensure a complete and accurate month-end close.
  • Implement & maintain AP policies and procedures for best practices.
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in Accounting or related field.
  • 10+ years of accounting experience
  • Competency in utilizing Deltek Cost Point accounting software.
  • Strong competency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge & experience with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Federal Government contracting experience and FAR compliance is a major plus.
  • Experience in government contracting environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work as a team and alone
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience with Cost Accounting Standards is desired.
