Purchasing Agent, Residential Construction - Deland, FL
Salary: $55- $70k Base + Bonus
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-4:30pm (On Site)

Job Summary:
The Purchasing Agent position will be responsible for working with existing and new vendors and subcontractors to ensure the most competitive pricing is received and taking the awarded project from best pricing through to generation of purchase orders.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overseeing and monitoring the activities related to all vendor and subcontractor pricing.
  • Review lumber pricing and track lumber futures monthly.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of changes to vendor sheet for all areas as needed via Teams.
  • Provide cost analysis reports and potential increases to Management.
  • Assist in development of processes and procedures to drive efficiency.
  • Notify and report pricing related issues to Chief Operating Officer.
  • All price increases require Chief Operating Officer approval.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all vendors and subcontractors.
  • Handle all Rental Equipment quotes, scheduling of delivery and pickups; provide necessary information to appropriate personnel.
  • Input all new model takeoffs in takeoff software & verify accuracy.
  • Entry of management approved new vendors, new items and any other approved changes in the Eclare system.
  • Prepare Job Start information in Takeoff Software through Purchase Order generation in Accounting Software
  • Accurate input of preliminary budget costs
  • Release all vendor purchase orders at completion of job start.
  • Load PO Summary Report and scope (if applicable) in Scheduling Software for Superintendent and Project Manager views.
  • Builder trend duties as assigned.
  • Performs other work-related duties as required.
