Unit: Critical Care Shift: Rotating Days/Nights & Rotating Holidays Responsibilities: Embrace cultural awareness, holding yourself and peers to standards of healthy, respectful interactions. Teach patients, families, and colleagues with a focus on clear guidance through care transitions and support the growth of new staff and students as a mentor. Apply the nursing process to develop patient-centered care plans that consider each patient's holistic needs and daily goals. Demonstrate critical thinking to address clinical and emotional needs, translating patient information effectively to other providers. Take ownership of professional growth and participate in shared governance, advancing quality in patient care and the work environment. Engage actively in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes. Incorporate evidence-based practices to drive improvements in clinical care, influencing patient care plans with current research insig 2+ years of nursing experience preferred Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients, families, and team members. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Physical stamina to perform frequent walking, standing, lifting, and patient positioning.
