Our operating hours are 7am -- 3:30pm. Our plant is clean and fully climate controlled (air conditioned all summer, heated in the winter). About the Job If you enjoy working with your hands, building quality products and learning new processes, this job is for you This position requires the ability to work with your hands to build thermocouples utilizing various methods. The ideal candidate is required to: Read and understand specifications Build Thermocouples to stated specifications Read measurements and cut material to proper sizes using a tape measure Test material to ensure a high level of quality control Have a basic understanding of electrical components Perform small amount of machining work Take direction from management and others Multitask in order to get assigned jobs done by due date Work as a team to meet customers' expectations High school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical/vocational degree or equivalent is preferred. Some of the processes and materials involved are: Hands on Assembly - Prior electrical assembly experience is a plus Brazing Fixturing Measurements (scale, calipers, ohmmeter, ruler) Quality Control Machining - cut, drill, and/or strip material as part of the assembly process Essential functions of the job include: Sitting and standing for extended periods of time Lifting 5-35 lbs Performing repetitive motions for extended periods of time.
