Project Scope: Backlog work, legacy rewrites/modernization written in AngularJS or JQuery to rewrite and handful of new app requests - not sure where they'd fit in but one of these

• Example - Geospatial stuff, map based, fairly large project with secretary of state, voter files, they have a manual process to see where precincts change - they will use geo spatial to see where the lines change over time automatically
• Example - Legacy modernization, fishing tournaments applications, way to organize and publish them so people can find them

Team Size & Breakdown:

• Small team, 5 dev's currently, 2-3 people on a project at a time
• Project manager
• Sometimes have designer

Expected to wear multiple hats - programming, comms with business/clients (clients are internal to SOM, different groups)

Development Methodology: Scrum loosely

High-Level Individual Duties:

• Working with senior dev's - building webpages/modernizing legacy
• They have Internal web components - angular wrappers for them

• Split between Angular programming and client work/ internal meetings
  • Understanding client needs, little documentation but not really expecting this person to do much - PM's do most
• Testing - They own unit tests, formalized, clients do user acceptance testing - no automated test suite
• Azure devops - familiarity, Experience building pipelines would be great but not needed
  • Git, source control, etc
• Cloud - nice to have, They have deployment methodology with red tape
  • they won't be doing deployment, have another team for that

Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):

• Angular/Typescript 8+
• SQL Server
• JQuery
• Experience communicating with business
