The Weekend Program offers a weekend-only schedule with enhanced compensation. As a Weekend Echocardiology Sonographer, you will work 48 scheduled weekends in a 12-month period, starting with your first shift. Travel allowance is available for eligible employees traveling over 75 miles one way.

The role of Echocardiography Sonographer is to provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related procedures. We are seeking professionals with the required credentials, experience, and clinical competency in cardiac ultrasound.

  • Demonstrate cognitive skills for comprehensive echocardiograph imaging
  • Exhibit technical skills for performing comprehensive echocardiograph exams
  • Possess knowledge of contrast echocardiography requirements

Base rate starts at $36.13 per hour. However, compensation is adjusted based on relevant experience. Position Compensation Range: $31.98 - $51.17 Hourly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Must meet the education requirement for Echocardiography Sonographer certification with either CCI or ARDMS; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: No experience required; 2 years relevant experience preferred
Licensure: RCS or RDCS with CCI or RCVT with ARDMS certification within 12 months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing for prolonged periods, bending/stooping, and occasional traveling; reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive); Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Ability to lift/push/pull 100lbs.
