THE JOB:

As a Commis in Stalla, you will be responsible for assisting the Sous Chef. You will also set the stage for an excellent guest experience by using your culinary techniques. You'll provide high-quality Italian food to guests from all over the world. In your role, you will partner with front-of-house staff to create WOW memories the guests will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING PAY:$21.18/hr

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Assist Sous Chef in product consistency and make necessary modifications according to the business needs
  • Assist Sous Chef in preparing ingredients, cooking, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist Sous Chef in preparation of menu, take inventory, and coordinate with the Sous Chef on order and preparation on food items
  • Assist Sous Chef in menu production
  • Learn from experienced chefs and actively participate in training and development opportunities

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Genuine passion for food and a desire to grow in a culinary career
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and culinary techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Flexibility to work various shifts based on event schedules
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
