This includes additional duties to maintain patient care, image quality, operational efficiency, and training of other X-ray technologists.

  • Travel to various settings to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while performing diagnostic imaging exams.
  • Collect and verify all required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment and determine exposure factors.
  • Demonstrate safe work practices and proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Process and review images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
  • Complete all required forms, maintain records, and perform routine equipment maintenance.
  • Adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Assist with training, administrative functions, and customer support.
  • Conduct yourself professionally and exhibit a positive attitude when interacting with others.
  • Utilize company computers, systems, and digital x-ray technology effectively.
