MDM Architect

The MDM Architect possesses 10+ years of experience developing and architecting MDM solutions leveraging the Informatica or similar platform. The candidate must be well experienced in the Snowflake Data Cloud, Informatica (preferred) or similar MDM platform and a motivated technologist with a proven track record of delivering results in software/technology consulting. MDM architect also be responsible for setting up data governance structure and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on and thorough knowledge of Snowflake Data cloud and including nice to have knowledge about cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.

• Demonstrate expertise in MDM tools like Informatica and Reltio.

• Architect and implement solutions that leverage the Informatica MDM platform (preferably Reltio) including experience in setting up MDM platform in data lake/cloud data environment

• Perform Informatica MDM low level design, configuration, monitoring, deployment and implementation of Informatica MDM Platform.

• Provide MDM thought leadership to customers to drive value and achieve greater operational efficiencies

• Assist with MDM strategy, Process Design, high level MDM architecture requirement and the implementation plan

• Assisting in the strategy and implementation of Enterprise Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Catalog and Master Data Management using modern techniques and approaches

• Experience dealing with PHI, PCI and PII data classifications and regulations.

• Experience dealing with data governance and business steward(s) to design, develop, and configure business rules for data validation, standardize, match, and merge Implementation of Data Quality policies, procedures and standards.

• Data Governance Team for maintenance of customer, location, product, and other data domains Supports the development and design of the internal data integration framework including data integration workflows and load processes

• Extensive hands on experience on large scale implementations integrating Informatica technology stack (preferably Reltio) Integrating Informatica IDQ, EDC and Axon, with each other and with other applications

• Direct collaboration with sales teams to formulate and help execute sales strategy to establish client's Global Business Services as the partner of choice for Informatica MDM solution implementation

• Ability to model data domains such as Party, Account, Contract, Product

• Installation of Informatica MDM hub

• Design and Development of Informatica MDM User Exits, Match rules, HM and IDD

• Developing MDM based web services using SIF

• Experience in integrating business application and Informatica MDM hub using Batch Process and message queues

• Lead MDM customer workshop sessions to elicit requirements and help build rapid proof of concepts (POCs) to actively demonstrate Informatica MDM solution hypothesis with tangible work products

• Performance tuning of Application, Database and Informatica MDM platform

• Ability to support teams spread across multiple regions (onshore & offshore)

• Strong leadership, planning and researching skills for the vendor evaluation process to migrate to cloud based MDM/DG solutions

Minimal Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, Data Governance and BI concepts

• 5+ years of experience in Informatica MDM (9.7.x or greater), Informatica Data Quality, Oracle, JBOSS, Java, Unix

• Designed/architected and implement end-to-end Informatica MDM solutions using the following development tools: Informatica MDM Hub, Informatica Data Director (IDD), Informatica Data quality (IDQ), Informatica BPM (Active VOS), Informatica SIF (SDK) APIs, Messaging triggers and queues

• Proven experience working with Service Oriented and Event Driven Architectures (SOA / EDA), JMS messaging, SOAP and RESTful services.

• Excellent communications skills - At least 3 years of experience in presentation skills with a high degree of comfort in speaking with executives, IT management, and developers

• Informatica MDM Certification

• Degree in a technical discipline, such as Computer Science or Math

• 10+ years of total IT experience

• Experience in Snowflake

Recommended Expertise:

• Hands on experience in IDQ and Informatica ETL (PowerCenter 9.x and later, Informatica Cloud Services)

• Worked on Snowflake Data Cloud

• Nice to have exposure to MDM tools like Reltio

• Experience in MDM cloud migration

• Experience or high-level knowledge on Reltio
