SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides oversight of day-to-day clinic operations and manages communication and implementation of services delivered by providers. Responsible for supporting operational and financial goals of each clinic. Coordinates training and orientation for new clinic staff. Provides consultation to department leaders on strategic staffing plans, training/development, and support to the clinical support specialist team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or business field preferred; at least three to five years’ experience within a healthcare environment/setting

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Strong in-house consulting skills, excellent customer service/team orientation and interpersonal competencies, employee relations/policies, performance management process and procedures. Provides onboarding to new staff to efficiently navigate the organization as it relates to patient and client care within the medical clinic setting.
  • Responsible for oversight and confirmation of patient access to services, insurance contract verification, utilization management, charge entry, patient satisfaction.
  • Works with medical staff to help identify opportunities for growth and ways to improve internal and external relationships.
  • Develops and maintains professional, intradepartmental workflow and relationships by fostering a spirit of cooperation.
  • Instrumental in supporting initiatives to generate revenue to foster growth within the medical clinics.
  • Works closely with the Providers and Medical Director to ensure the safe, efficient, and evidence-based delivery of behavioral health medical services in the organization.
  • Schedules standing meetings and reviews that reinforce internal and external communication, system of care and implementation of new initiatives.
  • Assisting with the credentialing process in collaboration with Human Resources and Utilization Management department.
  • Addresses identified barriers to maintain and improve Provider efficiencies; Develops and maintains the Provider Call Schedule/Calendar, with Quarterly development and distribution and adjusted accordingly to always ensure coverage.
  • Oversees the utilization management and daily business operations of the providers within the organization, relative to the medical clinics; manages IDP workflow.
  • Possesses a clear understanding of the financial, operational, administrative, and regulatory aspects of the organization.
  • Ensures HIPAA compliance and Risk Management at the service level.
  • Serves as the liaison between the Providers and departments with the organization.
  • Maintains customer’s confidence and Provider operations in keeping information confidential; following established confidentiality policy and procedures; maintaining professional boundaries with clients.
