AIX Admin

• 8 to 10 years of experience in AIX admin activities.
• Expert knowledge on AIX Server Administration (AIX 7.1/7.2, Power Systems, LPAR, POWERVM)
• Experience to AIX OS installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Experience in patch management
• Experience in Server Monitoring and configure Monitoring by using Native tool (HMC) as well as Industry Standard tools.
• Expert knowledge on AIX OS troubleshooting skills and tools
• Expert knowledge for capacity & performance management on AIX server
• Experience to install and maintain NIM Server, created Spot, LPP source and resource
• Experience on installing and configuring vio servers with NPIV and SEA
• Experience to migrate server from lower version of OS to latest version OS
• Experience to upgrade firmware
• Experience on HMC tool
• Experience in performance tuning and hardening of AIX servers
• Experience in network and storage configuration on AIX Servers
• Experience in Incident Management and implement workaround to resolve incidents within SLA.
• Experience to perform RCA and work with OEM to implement permanent solution
• Experience to work with Application Team to deploy software and application on server and release management
• Experience with PowerHA on AIX Servers.
