While many hospitals, especially rural hospitals, are closing because of ever declining reimbursement for the services they provide, Grafton City Hospital continues to get stronger by operating more efficiently and providing excellent healthcare to our community.

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs all nursing functions within the scope of practice of a Licensed Practical Nurse in the clinic setting to facilitate patient flow and care by the provider.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Currently licensed as a licensed practical nurse in the State of West Virginia.
EXPERIENCE
  • One-year experience in an urgent care, emergency department, or medical office setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of outpatient procedures is preferred.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Graduate of an approved program of practical nursing.
  • Current West Virginia State Practical Nursing license is required.
  • Must possess BLS Certification within the orientation period.
