Munich Re America Services, Inc. seeks a Test Specialist for its Amelia, OH location. Duties: Collaborate with analysis team, product owner, and architect on requirements and design documents. Create test strategy, test scenarios, and test cases. Estimate effort and timeline for testing. Review test strategy and test cases with project team. Create test data as needed in transactional systems, including Guidewire. Run queries to validate data in database tables. Run business intelligence reports to validate data in reports. Document results of test cases. Document and monitor defects found. Communicate and report on test cases and defects. Coordinate work with offshore testing team. Participate in scrum ceremonies, including daily stand ups, sprint planning, sprint demonstrations, and sprint retrospectives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Information Systems, or a closely related field plus 3 years of experience as a Developer, Tester, Test Specialist, Quality Engineer, ETL Tester, or closely related position. Candidate's prior experience must include: 3 years of experience in data warehouse testing; in creating test plans and strategies; and in defect tracking; and property and casualty insurance knowledge including at least three years of experience using a policy insurance administration system (e.g. Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Insurity).
