MercyOne Iowa Heart Center Ottumwa is looking for a Locum to Perm Non-Invasive Cardiologist to add to to the team

Details:

Schedule: 8a - 4:30p with 24 hour call on weekends.
Reason for coverage: Internal Physician is relocating.
LOCUM TO PERM REQUIRED. Facility is not currently accepting Locum only.
Willing to accept new Grads
EMR: Nextgen
Lvl IV Trauma
Total Number of Beds: 120 beds
Total Number of ICU Beds: 6 beds
Will other Interventional Cardiologists be Present During our Locum's Coverage? Yes, Des Moines IV Cardiology physicians cover cath lab and help with call in Ottumwa.
Required Procedures: No TAVRS. No CT Surgery back-up. Office consults and rechecks. Hospital consults and daily rounds. Left and Right Heart Cath. Cardioversions. TEE. Pacemakers. Loop recorders. Echo. Nuclear.
Credentialing Timeframe = 60-90 days, or sooner depending on facility.

Requirement description :

Board Certified - REQUIRED
IA License or IMLC - REQUIRED
ACLS, BLS, Mandatory Reporter - REQUIRED
MUST be interested in Locum to Perm - REQUIRED (Note how many months willing to work as Locum before going Perm)
Must be available full time - REQUIRED (Full time = 3-4 weeks per month, ongoing)

Weekend Requirements : Yes
On Call Requirements : Yes, 24-hour call coverage
