Job Summary - Systems Engineer
- Analyzes and designs technical solutions to address business needs.
- Troubleshoots systems to increase quality of systems.
- Identifies, investigates and proposes solutions to technical problems. Develops, tests, and modifies software to improve efficiency of internal operating systems.
- Provides technical expertise where required within Information Technology Projects. Prepares and maintains necessary documentation. Highest level may function as a lead. Other duties as assigned.
- Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
- Mainframe Systems Programmer to maintain vendor software and work cooperatively to keep the overall mainframe environment healthy.
- Monitor, build alerting and automation, integrate with interrelated systems, and craft creative solutions to problems and obstacles.
- Troubleshooting, vendor engagement, planning, and escalation will be needed to uncover issues, discover root causes, and implement resolutions.
- Products and services cover vendors such as Broadcom, BMC, Rocket Software, and others.
