Description Fox Rothschild LLP is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with a minimum eight (8) years of experience for the Morristown Office. P rimary Responsibilities Compiling, preparing, and summarizing relevant materials for use by attorneys in discovery; Indexing, tracking, and controlling case related materials; Processing settlements for complex litigation matters; Reviewing documents for relevance and inclusion in case file; Summarizing depositions and other transcripts; Tracking and controlling document discovery (including documents produced and received in discovery); Indexing, tracking, and controlling exhibits and other materials at depositions and at trial; Reviewing documents for relevance and privilege according to established guidelines and criteria; and Working closely and directly with attorneys and clients during all phases of litigation. Additional responsibilities include supporting attorneys during trial, including assistance with creation of demonstratives and courtroom presentation/support. Skills & Abilities Advanced working knowledge of Relativity, Excel, Case Notebook and related case management software is required. Working knowledge of New Jersey Rules of Civil Procedure For Courts of Record in New Jersey. Experience working directly with attorneys and clients during all phases of litigation. Qualifications BA or BS degree preferred. Associate's degree or paralegal certificate with eight years of comparable work experience required. Ability to work well with clients and experts required. Ability to work independently. Strong organizational and written communication skills. Demonstrate high level of professionalism. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. VISUAL ACUITY Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
