Job Title: Mammography Technician

Experience: Minimum of 1 year required; first-timer applications are accepted

License: Must have a valid compact license

Certifications: Preferred US Breast Registry, extensive US breast experience

Must-Have: At least one year of relevant experience, capability to work holidays as required

Job Description:

- Work as a Mammography Technician in a Children's Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
- Responsibilities include providing mammography services and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- The position involves a 1:1 Tech to Patient ratio.
- The role does not require floating between units, on-call duty, or weekend work.
- Block schedules are not required.
- Complete 40 hours of orientation.
- Participate in non-billable module training, with an average of 16 hours spent; any excess requires management approval.
- Provide supervisory references covering a total of one year within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting.
- Must commit to working three out of five major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
- Maintain effective communication, ensuring timely completion of job duties with or without provided communication devices.
- Display flexibility while adhering to the contracted schedule and requested time off.
