Software Dev Engineer II

Our client is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their team. As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be part of the Content Platform Team, supporting the merchandising applications team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Software?Development Engineer II
Location: Onsite in Seattle, WA
Pay Range: $50/hr. - $53/hour
What's the Job?
1.Develop and maintain monitoring solutions for production systems.
2.Troubleshoot and debug issues in internally developed codebases (Perl, C/C++, Java).
3.Perform SQL queries to analyze and resolve system issues.
4.Collaborate with development teams to enhance and update current software systems.
5.Automate support processes and document system designs and workflows.
The top 3 required skills for the Software Development Engineer II position are:
1.Proficiency in Programming Languages: Strong experience with Perl, C/C++, or Java.
2.SQL Querying and Data Analysis: Ability to perform and troubleshoot SQL queries effectively.
3.UNIX/Linux Expertise: Solid understanding of UNIX/Linux operating systems for debugging and development tasks.

1.Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technical discipline.
2. 2-5 years of relevant software development experience.
3.Proficiency in at least one programming language: Perl, C/C++, or Java.
4.Strong SQL skills for querying and data analysis.
5.Solid understanding of UNIX/Linux operating systems.
