Job Description

Riceland Foods is hiring a Truck Dispatcher.

Making appointments for load pickups, entering orders into the computer system after loading, printing applicable paperwork, coordinating with the loaders on scheduling and loading.

Must be able to read shipping orders, print legibly, have good keyboarding skills, polite telephone skills, ability to perform more than one task at a time and to interact with the public in a professional manner.

Job Duties
• Load, unload, store, inventory and transport finished goods and supplies associated with packing and shipping of finished goods
• Using forklift, slip fork, pallet jack or other equipment.
• Check accuracy of item type, quantity and quality of all finished goods and supplies against shipping or receiving documents.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years related experience or similar background.
