Associate Pharmacy Technician at Providence Ambulatory Services in Portland, Oregon

Full-Time/Day Shift

Performs all typical duties of a retail or call center pharmacy staff technician as defined by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy and local pharmacy drug outlet procedures. Fills physician orders for patient medications under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision. Communicate with and service the needs of the Retail, Mail Order, Specialty Pharmacy clientele.

Required Qualifications:

- Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire. Or
- Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire.
- In compliance with the Providence Health and Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 Background Checks, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

- National Certification/CPhT.
- 1 year customer service.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
