Job Description/n

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist experienced with Siemens equipment and hospital-based MRI for a 13-week evening shift assignment.

/n /n Responsibilities/n

- Position is based in an inpatient hospital MRI unit
- Shift schedule is Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM
- Performs diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging, including organ systems and blood flow studies
- Uses Siemens MRI systems
- Reports to the MRI Manager or Chief Imaging Technologist
- Provides radiologists with high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
- Orients physicians, residents, staff, and students to MRI objectives and safety
- Assists nursing staff as needed, including witnessing medication wasting and documentation in Pyxis
- Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate
- Must be a strong candidate; facility prefers highly qualified professionals

/n /n Requirements/n

- Current ARRT (R) (MR) certification
- Valid CPR certification via AHA
- Previous experience with Siemens MRI and in a hospital setting is required
- Experience in a hospital with 500 or more beds is required
- License required if applicable
