Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems for a variety of construction projects. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and code-compliant operation of electrical systems while contributing to our commitment to exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Installation: Install wiring, control, and lighting systems for new construction projects per blueprints and specifications.
- System Upgrades: Perform electrical upgrades and modifications, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Lighting Installation: Design and install lighting systems focused on energy efficiency and workplace productivity.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance for optimal system performance.
- Emergency Response: Provide 24/7 support for electrical emergencies, delivering swift solutions to avoid prolonged outages or hazards.
- Safety Compliance: Follow company safety policies and industry regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections.
- Gross Profit Margin Monitoring: Collaborate weekly with the Electrician Supervisor to ensure gross profit margin targets are met, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrician in residential and commercial construction.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to respond to emergency calls as needed.
