Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

/n/n

Job Details:

/n

• Work Monday to Friday schedule with rotating weekly and holiday call
/n• Float between main and south campus locations
/n• Rotate through General Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Nuclear Medicine and Oncology PET/CT
/n• Provide diagnostic medical nuclear medicine services consistent with clinical education and training
/n• Demonstrate clinical competencies to perform nuclear medicine procedures for patients ranging from infant to geriatric
/n• Work under interpreting physician's supervision
/n• Must be graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology or Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine
/n• Required certifications: The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) or Certification through Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
/n• Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) License from the State of Texas required
/n• BLS certification required
/n• Minimum 1 year of experience required
/n• Travel experience highly preferred
/n• Must complete needed lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
