About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Podiatry MD in Arizona

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Podiatrist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Mar 9, 2026. This opportunity features 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with additional call duties and approximately one weekend per month. The role includes a mix of clinic, call, and surgical responsibilities, with flexibility to work at a satellite clinic for about one week each month.

Job Details

- Provider Type Needed: Podiatrist
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; call coverage including approximately 1 weekend per month; about one week per month at a satellite clinic (1 hour from main facility)

Responsibilities and Duties

- Evaluate and manage surgical podiatry cases, focusing on patients with complex comorbidities
- Determine patient suitability for treatment at the facility based on clinical assessment
- Provide care in clinic, perform surgical procedures, and participate in call coverage
- Rotate to a satellite clinic as needed, approximately one week per month
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of care
- Utilize the RPMS electronic medical record system for patient documentation

Additional Information

- Board certification in Podiatric Medicine required
- Experience with Indian Health Service (IHS) is not required
- Must possess a license to practice in any state
- Flexibility and adaptability are essential to meet the needs of the main and satellite clinics
