- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)/n

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1360-$1460/n
- Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D), 5 beds/n
- Patient Ratios: Laboring Patient 1:1, Postpartum 1:3 Mom/3 Babies/n
- Scrub Color: Turquoise/n
- EMR System: Cerner/n

/n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n

/n
- Active Tennessee RN license/n
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications (required)/n
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience/n
- Previous travel nurse experience preferred/n
- Willingness to work either Christmas Eve or Christmas Night/n
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the Newport facility/n
- Strong commitment to patient- and family-centered care/n

/n/nL&D Nurse Responsibilities/n

/n
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit, addressing psychosocial, physical, and developmental needs/n
- Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient condition, diagnostic results, and symptom changes/n
- Deliver care with initiative and responsibility, upholding professional nursing standards/n
- Support patients and families with compassionate, thorough communication/n
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR/n
- Follow all healthcare facility policies, including holiday coverage and call requirements/n
