Job Description/n

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a community hospital, requiring at least 1 year of MRI experience and BCLS/ARRT MR certification.

/n /n Responsibilities/n

- Work in a community hospital MRI department with outpatients, inpatients, and emergency department patients
- Typical patient ratio is 1:2, with 1:1 ratio on weekends
- Shift consists of three 12-hour day shifts, Saturday to Monday, from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM
- No call or float requirements
- Utilizes Pyxis medication management system and Visage PACS
- MRI procedures include trauma, abdominal MRA, brain, head MRA/MRV, female/male pelvis, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal studies
- Responsibilities include performing a variety of advanced MRI scans for diverse patient populations
- Royal blue scrubs are required
- No RTO is permitted after booking and any call-offs may result in cancellation
- 13-week contract required, with the possibility to indicate interest in longer assignment

/n /n Requirements/n

- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required
- Current BCLS and ARRT MR certification required
- Proficiency in ER/trauma and a wide range of MRI procedures, including administration of contrast media and radiation safety
- Experience with PACS, Siemens MRI equipment, and isolation precautions required
- Ability to start peripheral IVs
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- License required if applicable
