Job Details:

/n

• Work Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
/n• On-call responsibilities for holidays only
/n• Must work minimum of 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays
/n• No weekend requirements
/n• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
/n• Required certifications: ARMRIT (Certified MRI Technologist) or ARRT-MR, BLS (Basic Life Support)
/n• Minimum 1 year experience required with successful completion of accredited MRI program or ARRT-R
/n• Perform MRI examinations following department procedures and protocols
/n• Obtain patient clinical history and assess for contraindications
/n• Administer contrast media when appropriate and verify patient GFR levels
/n• Position patients properly and use safety devices during examinations
/n• Maintain equipment calibration and perform quality control checks
/n• Document patient information and transmit studies to PACS system
/n• Provide patient education using AIDET communication standards
/n• Maintain MRI suite security and safety protocols
/n• Must demonstrate competence in cross-sectional anatomy and pulse sequence parameters
/n• Ability to work independently while participating as cooperative team member
/n• Must exhibit excellent customer service and communication skills
