Job Description/n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of radiology experience and current MA state licensure for a 13-week assignment.

/n /n Responsibilities/n

- Work in a hospital Cat Scan department serving patients from newborns to geriatrics
- Schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Procedures include a variety of computed tomography scans using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation
- Must be able to insert and remove IVs
- Uses Epic EMR
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for standard rates
- Responsibilities include performing a variety of CT procedures under the direction of physicians and technical specialists
- Must adhere to hospital, federal, state, and local policies and procedures
- Must be able to meet the needs of both adult and older adult patient populations
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Scrubs or dress code information not specified; inquire for details
- Parking may incur a daily fee; public transportation and parking lot options may be used

/n /n Requirements/n

- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience required
- MA license from the State of Mass Radiation Control Board required; conditional licenses are not accepted (license required if applicable)
- ARRT Registered RT(R) or RT(N) required
- ARRT registry in Computed Tomography preferred; if not held at hire, must obtain within one year
- BLS/CPR certification required; AHA certification only accepted
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
