Opportunity:

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Night shifts available with every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• Team scheduling approach with possible self-scheduling options
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3-6 on a 19-bed unit
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 1 year of experience required (previous travel experience not required)
• Must have skills in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, NG tube management, and foley insertion
• Required to read own telemetry strips using Mindray monitors
• Must be competent with respiratory equipment setup including BiPap, CPAP, and HFNC
• Care for patients with acute and swing bed diagnoses including pneumonia, COPD, CHF, pancreatitis, and GI bleed
• Float to Med/Tele Acute/Obs/Swingbed units as needed
• May participate as part of the code team
• Must provide own scrubs in any color
• Typically 3-4 twelve-hour orientation shifts
• Use Meditech charting system
• BSN not required
