About The Position
Location: Akron, Ohio, USA Specialty: CVICU Type: Travel Schedule: 3x12s Nights Time: 13 weeks
Seven Healthcare is currently offering an exciting nursing opportunity for a Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Akron, Ohio. This contract includes a competitive weekly blended rate of $2,484, based on three 12-hour night shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

- Deliver advanced care to critically ill cardiac and post-operative cardiovascular patients
- Monitor and manage life-support systems including ventilators, drips, and pacemakers
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Accurately document interventions, assessments, and outcomes
- Respond promptly to emergencies with confidence and clinical skill
- Provide compassionate support to patients and their families during complex care

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

- Active Ohio RN license or valid compact state license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a CVICU or similar critical care setting
