- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1950–$2090 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NY RN license preferred for New York healthcare jobs)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Ability to serve as charge nurse as needed
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Med/Surg Acute Unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Serve as charge nurse when required, offering leadership and support to the nursing staff
- Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
