- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025 – End: 2/2/2026)/n
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)/n
- Hours per Week: 36/n
- Unit Size: 52 beds/n
- Patient Ratios: 3:1 average, low acuity 5:1, team nursing for pediatrics/n
- Electronic Medical Record: Meditech EMR/n
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1570 - $1610/n

/n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n

/n
- Active Kansas RN license (Registered Nurse)/n
- Minimum 1 year of recent ER nurse experience in a large facility (52 beds or more)/n
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and NIH Stroke certifications required/n
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred/n
- TNCC certification preferred/n
- Proficient in IV starts and medication administration/n
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, diverse emergency room environment/n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills/n

/n/nER Nurse Responsibilities/n

- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages/n
- Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric nursing care/n
- Collaborate with physicians, midlevel providers, and other clinical support staff/n
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR/n
- Ensure compliance with patient and medication scanning protocols for safety/n
- Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and emergency situations/n
- Contribute to a positive patient experience in a busy Kansas ER setting/n
