Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide high-quality patient care while effectively managing medical emergencies. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and triaging patients while utilizing advanced nursing skills.

Responsibilities

- Perform triage and quick assessments of patients in the emergency department.
- Monitor vital signs and manage cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmias.
- Administer medications and continuous IV sedation as necessary.
- Provide care for ventilated patients and support respiratory needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting preferred.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification required.
- Cerner charting system experience required.
- Preferred certifications include MAB, NIHSS, NRP, SANE, TNCC.
