Job Summary and Responsibilities/n /n As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. /n Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process. /n To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care. /n /n
- Performs CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations i.e. Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro and Interventional Procedures /n
- Assists Interventional Radiologist by accurately scanning the area of interest requested by Radiologist i.e. biopsies and drainages /n
- Ensures patient is ready for scan i.e. confirms appropriate gauge IV needle, appropriate type/dose of contrast and allergy status /n
- Accurately and thoroughly completes hospital/department specific forms per protocol i.e. completes exams in Radnet, incident reports/extravasation forms, patient contrast information forms, side/site forms and documents exam information in CT log /n
- Performs protocol management by evaluating and determining area of interest and type of scan to be performed on patient, consults physician as necessary /n
- Encourages good working relationships, promotes team effort within the department by communicating in a positive manner and motivates staff /n Job Requirements/n Required /n /n
- Other Completion of approved American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent approved RadiologicTechnologist Program. and Minimum of two (2) years CT experience. or /n
- Medical Radiographer: AZ, and /n
- American Heart Association-issued Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, and /n
- CT Radiology Tech: AZ, upon hire and /n
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, or /n
- Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry, or /n
- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, or /n
- Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, or /n
- Registered Technologist Mammography, or /n
- Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or /n
- Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, or /n
- Registered Technologist Quality Management, or /n
- Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy, or /n
- Registered Technologist Vascualr Inteventional Rad, or /n
- Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography, /n /n Preferred /n /n
