Job DescriptionNurse Anesthetist (CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) - Full-time positionsThis CRNA will work in a care team model with Anesthesiologists to cover cases in the main operating room, endoscopy suite and interventional radiology.Mount Sinai Brooklyn is the only Mount Sinai Health System hospital in Brooklyn. It is a community hospital that performs approximately 6000 anesthetics a year to a very diverse population.ResponsibilitiesRoles & Responsibilities: The cases performed include the need to provide general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, MAC anesthesia, blocks for the purposes of postoperative pain reduction, and when indicated, arterial and central vein catheterization.This site does not do obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiac or major trauma.The main requisite traits are a high degree of competence, teamwork, diligence, and empathy.QualificationsRequirements: NYS RN license and registration requiredBSN and Master's degree CRNA certificate requiredBLS and ACLS certification Non-Bargaining Unit, ABW - Anesthesiology - BKL, Mount Sinai BrooklynAbout UsStrength Through Diversity The Mount Sinai Health System believes that diversity, equity, and inclusion are key drivers for excellence.
