Job Summary: Seasonal Supervisors are responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of all animal exhibits and Team Members. This position is accountable for delivering a superior guest experience, while enforcing all park policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Coordinating the daily operation of animal exhibits, and administering daily assignments for the team• Achieving, receiving, and maintaining certifications on all animal exhibits• Complying with and enforcing all aspects of the Operations training program, including the daily application and supervision of all training procedures, policies, and documentation• Writing and updating a department schedule; assisting in specialized recruiting when appropriate• Answering guest questions• Motivating and interacting with Unit Supervisors and Team Members• Coaching Unit Supervisors and Team Members to monitor efficiency standards and achieve optimum throughput on all rides• Auditing the skills and performance of department Team Members and Unit Supervisors• Coaching and developing Team Members on guest service, training, safety, and efficiency• Overseeing the development of Unit Supervisors• Completing and maintaining all formal documents and audit forms used on a daily basis in the department• Enforcing all Six Flags Discovery Kingdom policies• Assisting in other areas of the Explorer Guide Department• Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned Skills and Qualifications:• At least 18 years of age• Be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language• Previous leadership experience• Be available to work flexible hours at night, weekends and holidaysOther Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
