Cut parts to fit specifications designated in part prints.Job Description:JOB RESPONSIBILITIES•Obtains work order to determine parts to be processed•Setup, calibrate and changeover machine to print specifications•Feeds wood stock through machine to create specified parts•Monitor machine for proper cutting, drilling, etc.•Quality checks parts per control plan•Reads parts prints, tape measure, caliper, and depth gauges to check specifications•Counts and records part quantities; completes timesheets•Moves finished parts to storage location•Perform Daily/Weekly preventative maintenance tasks•Certified and trained on proper LO/TO procedures.•Follows health and safety standards•Maintains a clean workplace following 5S standards•Performs other tasks as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS:•Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties•Basic computer skills•Ability to read parts prints, tape measure, caliper, and depth gauges•Mechanical knowledge is preferred to help troubleshoot problems•Ability to work with computerized equipment•PIV License as needed•Ability to lift 50 lbs.OUR PURPOSE:We are La-Z-Boy Incorporated.
