We invite you to join us as we strive to be The Most Trusted Partner for Health.Shift will be every Saturday from 11pm - 7:30am.The MHAT Clinician assesses and provides referral information to individuals for mental health and/or chemical dependency assistance or treatment for INTEGRIS Health and INTEGRIS Health affiliate hospitals. This position requires population specific competencies. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.ResponsibilitiesThe MHAT Clinician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Screens telephone calls to determine urgency of requests and initial treatment neededProvides clear direction to caller to guide them to an assessment clinician or referral option for treatmentInputs data to spreadsheet to track assessments, outcomes and if necessary, placement attemptsProvides clinical mental health assessments and documentation of the assessmentFacilitates emergency detention paperwork when appropriateFacilitates placement of patient in inpatient psychiatric or crisis facilityMay be required to be a Clinician on call to assist team members with issues that may arise and in consulting unique casesCompletes department required forms/documentsThe MHAT Clinician reports to Manager of Behavioral Health and Mental Health Assessment Team.This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements.
