The MedServ Group - Optometrist (1 Visit Monthly) The MedServ Group $1050 - $1,200 a day $40-$45 per patient The MedServ Group is a rapidly growing company which provides residents in healthcare settings such as nursing/rehab facilities with top-of-the-line care. We are currently searching for a talented Optometrist to join our team You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. The ideal optometry candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care to the senior population. Optometrist Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye exams. Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease. Prescribe corrective lenses or eye medications as needed. Provide pre and post-operative care to surgical patients. Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients. Optometrist Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license. Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics. Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills. General Information Average day: 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork. Flexible schedule: typically 9am-4pm. 22-25 patients per visit, preventative care Percentage Pay Option: 35% - 40% of collections (around $1050 - $1200 per visit for 25 patients) Per patient Option: $40-$45 per patient (22-25 patients per visit) All doctors are 1099 (independent contractors) Doctor covers their medical malpractice insurance.
