What You'll Do::

The Clinical Data Architect is responsible for providing expertise in organizing and providing data and information needed to meet the measurement and analytics need of the organization. Responsibilities include:

  • Writes, tunes, and interprets advanced SQL queries
  • Designs a blueprint to ensure data is accurate and accessible including verifying data accuracy and designing complex interactions between data fields within the data management solution
  • Provides technical and administrative support of complex, enterprise-wide analytics systems to ensure data integrity and proper system function
  • Stays current on and provides data for relevant health care developments and quality programs-including but not limited to Meaningful Use, PCMH, MIPS/MACRA, UDS
  • Works with front line staff and management to design and implement data quality and data governance initiatives
  • Researches and stays current on new BI/reporting technology and development techniques.
  • Researches and evaluates software and hardware to assist in development on different platforms
  • Organizes and presents data in a meaningful waya. Assist managers and staff members in the conceptualization and development of new templates and documents
  • Designs, codes, implements, and troubleshoots electronic forms used for documentation in the EHR
  • Revises existing EHR to improve functionality and/or normalized data collection
  • Provides support and training to the user community regarding the use and implementation of clinical content including development of training materials


What We're Looking For::
  • Bachelors Degree in related field preferred
  • Extensive experience in building and maintaining ambulatory EHR templates and documents
  • Must be able to read and generate written medical communication and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, providers, peers, supervisor or other collaborative community agencies.
  • Ability to communicate any real or potential clinic or organizational problems to appropriate risk management staff.
