General Function:

Interacts constantly with customers through product demos and consultations. Develops product knowledge, history and practices. Participates enthusiastically in store contests, trainings and meetings.

Seeks feedback from management and coworkers to improve performance. Maintains store standards with pride. Obtains knowledge of products and helps others grow.

Reporting Relations:

Accountable and Reports to: District Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Manager of; Store Operations, Perishables, and Health Wellness Home; Fashion/Beauty/Basin Department Manager, Service Managers

Positions that Report to you: None

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consistently executes to the selling model.

• Meets selling goals/expectations during scheduled shifts.

• Builds highly satisfied and loyal customer base through engagement, conversion and capturing customer phone and e-mail.

• Supports replenishment activities to keep the store full and abundant.

• Assists with floor sets, visual presentations and signage placement as directed.

• Abides by policies and procedures.

• Ensures that standards of safety and cleanliness: stock/storage and department are maintained.

  
  

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prices products for customers as necessary.

• Performs other job related duties and special projects as required.

• Assists in other areas of store as needed.

  
  

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:

• Excellent client service and communication skills.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Cosmetic experience desirable.

• Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel.

  
  

Education and Experience:

• 1-2 years of retail, customer service, beauty or cosmetics experience.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to physically exert up to 50-pounds of force occasionally, 20-pounds of force frequently and 10-pounds of force constantly to move objects.

• Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of more than 20-inches and less than 20-feet with our without correction, color vision, depth perception and field of vision.

• Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.

  
  

Working Conditions:

• The duties for this position are normally conducted in a retail store type environment.

• There is some pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.

• There could be exposure to noise, equipment movement hazards, cleaning chemicals/solvents, and possible electrical shock and temperature extremes.

• Works in a fragrance filled environment.

• Handles and applies cosmetic products to clients.

• Able to work flexible days/nights/hours including weekends and holidays.
