Summary: Work Mode: Newton, MA fixed hybrid schedule, 3 days in office Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst, Labor will partner with the FP&A team and the Director of Workforce Planning to develop and manage models and tools to forecast, analyze and report labor metrics. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with exceptional attention to detail. A successful individual will challenge the status quo and handle multiple priorities simultaneously, working well within a team, independently, and cross-functionally. Key Responsibilities: Supports the Director of Workforce Planning, Operations and FP&A in the development and implementation of labor models to optimize staffing schedules, ensuring that each community is adequately staffed to provide high-quality care while maintaining operational efficiency. Creates labor budgets and forecasts based on resident care needs, regulatory requirements and business goals. Compares actual results to forecasts weekly, monthly, and annually. Analyzes trends, prepares analysis and provides actionable insights and recommendations. Supports the development and maintenance of sophisticated labor and staffing models to forecast staffing requirements based on resident needs, industry trends, and regulatory guidelines. Analyzes historical data and industry benchmarks to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement in workforce efficiency. Supports development and implementation of comprehensive workforce planning tools, including software solution. Provides training to field leaders and other users of the workforce planning tools. Assists in the development of workforce models, scenario planning, and forecasting to anticipate future workforce needs. Assists in the development of KPIs related to labor efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Generate dashboards and tracking mechanisms to monitor the success of program launches and ongoing adoption. Works closely with Operations, People & Culture and other departments to ensure accurate and efficient labor planning. Participates in cross-functional projects and initiatives. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis. Experience in multi-unit senior living operations preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in core financial and operations systems such as Workday, Microsoft Power BI, OnShift, Salesforce, and PointClickCare. Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel. Attributes: Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and presentation skills to be able to translate financial results into meaningful insights. Ability to work well within a team, independently, and cross-functionally.
