Job Responsibilities: As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the project development process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough cost estimates for a range of commercial construction projects, from inception to completion.
  • Analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to accurately determine project costs.
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing information.
  • Developing detailed and competitive bids and proposals.
  • Providing value engineering solutions to optimize project costs without sacrificing quality.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations to ensure competitiveness.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimation, with a focus on ground-up projects.
  • Proficiency in construction estimation software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
