Overview:
NaphCare is hiring an experienced Dental Assistant just like you to join our team at the Arizona Department of Corrections - Yuma facility located in San Luis, AZ.
Pay rates from $22.00-$32.00 per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience. Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and can be discussed upon interview.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.
Position Description:
- Coordinate dental services and assist Dentist with patient care, instruments, supplies, documentation and support the function of the dental department
- Assist in documentation and maintenance of all patient dental records
- Assist in triaging and scheduling of all dental sick call requests
- Prepare clinic with appropriate instruments and materials for scheduled visits
- Assist Dentist during treatment by providing instruments, materials, retraction or suction
- Mix and fabricate all restorative materials
- Ensure all dental equipment properly maintained and functioning
- Sterilize and disinfect equipment and tools
- Develop all routine radiographs
