Purpose: The Associate Director IMMF USD Liquidity Support under the Reporting & Analytics team, along with the U.S. Treasurer, is responsible for all aspects of USD Liquidity managed by the U.S. Operations. The incumbent is responsible for providing management oversight within the Reporting & Analytics team to the U.S. Treasurer in the production of reporting and analysis used to monitor the daily liquidity position focusing on deposits for the Bank’s Consolidated U.S. Operations and material U.S. entities for all business lines and liquidity concerns. The incumbent is also expected to connect all facets of liquidity including payment flows as related by all major currencies, through the following reports including (but not limited to): Daily Fed 6G / FR 2052a Daily Liquidity Stress Test and Liquidity Buffer Impacts Daily Cash Flow Monitoring Top Counterparty Reporting FBO Tailoring Metrics

What You’ll Do: Serves as SME in providing oversight within the First Line of Defense by managing the production of, reviewing and signing off on daily liquidity reporting with consideration to the Bank’s risk appetite, with product focus on Global Business Payment products. Lead the launch of any newly defined deposit and other cash management products on behalf of U.S. Treasury Evaluate and identify the strategic roadmap for US Treasury in analysis of Global Transaction Banking products by working closely with Enterprise and core Business Lines, Anticipates and recommends Treasury solutions resulting from any business product trends or regulatory or risk issues. Major contributor in a team of analysts in developing subject matter expertise related to product specific liquidity reporting and stress testing. Leads discussions with business lines to develop robust liquidity stress testing assumptions for products booked in the U.S. Develops process for management reporting to ensure timely ad-hoc analytics and reporting as requested by the U.S. Treasurer and other senior management. Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Champions and thrives in a high-performance environment with other team members to ensure that overall team goals, objectives and timelines are met. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

What You'll Bring: Masters degree in finance and computer science preferred. Non-business degree combined with either the CFA, FRM or computer literacy would be acceptable. Financial market experience with a background in liquidity. Strong analytical skills including extensive experience with PowerPoint, and Excel (including pivot tables). Advanced knowledge of VBA, Python and SQL is preferred. Previous experience with the regulatory reporting platform Axiom would be helpful, but not essential. This role requires precision and accuracy in the production of reporting that is circulated to regulatory bodies, as well as to the Bank’s senior management. In addition, this role requires strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to multi-task. An intermediate level understanding of the various rules and regulations which govern U.S. liquidity reporting including (but not limited to) the latest FR 2052a rules and Reg YY requirements for FBOs. Knowledge of how products are categorized and treated from a liquidity perspective is required. A high-level understanding of the products reported and the corresponding impacts to the short-term wholesale funding measure (FR Y-15 Schedule N) and the U.S. Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR).
